"Hwy 50 Brewery - Tap Into Adventure " was skillfully shot over the span of five days, traversing multiple seasons throughout the year.
This dynamic project celebrates adventure along Highway 50, from Echo Summit to the Hwy 50 Brewery in Camino, El Dorado County, CA. The carefully crafted narrative captures skiing, mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, and wake boarding against California's scenic backdrop.
Filmed and produced by Nick Warren and Scott Blankenfeld with the help of many amazing local athletes and friends. Edited by Nick Warren. Narration by David Piper.
Short Documentary Film
It was late in the 1990's. Whitewater Kayaking was on the rise and most California rivers and creeks had already been found and paddled by the pioneers of CA Whitewater. A Local group of kayakers from the American River grab the first descent of a true diamond in the rough... The South Fork Silver Creek.
Accepted to the Paddling Film Festival and made the Short List in 2022.
